Arby’s Gluten Free Menu

Can you eat gluten free at Arby’s? Here’s the Arby’s gluten free menu: all 60 items on Arby’s own list, from sauces and shakes to roast beef and crinkle fries. No bun or sandwich is on it.

Two things catch people out. The roast beef is on the list but the roast beef sandwiches aren’t, and the crinkle fries and potato cakes are on it with a footnote: Arby’s says they may be cooked in the same oil as chicken and curly fries, which contain wheat.

Avoiding something besides gluten? The Arby’s allergen menu lets you tick milk, egg, soy, sesame and more.

The Arby’s gluten free menu, item by item

Arby’s list means no wheat, barley (malt), rye or oats. It’s dated March 2025 and is the current list on Arby’s website. It’s based on ingredients and leaves out limited-time items, so a new item won’t be on it.

Check with your restaurant before you order, every time. Recipes, suppliers and fryer oil change, and this page repeats Arby’s published list. It isn’t a promise about what’s in your food.

Does Arby’s have a gluten free menu?

Yes, as a list rather than a menu board. Arby’s publishes 60 items made without wheat, barley, rye or oats, effective March 2025. It covers sauces, cheeses, shakes, drinks, meats, breakfast items, crinkle fries and potato cakes. It’s ingredient-based, apart from one fryer-oil footnote, so it says little about how your order is prepared.

Are Arby’s fries gluten free?

Curly fries aren’t gluten free: Arby’s September 2026 guide lists wheat as an ingredient. Crinkle fries and potato cakes are on the gluten free list, but Arby’s says they may be cooked in the same oil as items that contain wheat, such as chicken and curly fries. How much that matters depends on your sensitivity, so ask your restaurant how it fries them.

Does Arby’s have gluten free buns?

No. There’s no bun, roll or sandwich on Arby’s gluten free list, and the guide lists wheat in the roast beef sandwiches. Some sites say Arby’s sells a gluten free bun, but Arby’s own list doesn’t include one. If you want a sandwich filling without the bread, ask your restaurant what it can do, and tell them why.

Is Arby’s roast beef gluten free?

The roast beef itself is on Arby’s gluten free list, along with corned beef, roast turkey, smoked brisket and bacon. The sandwiches aren’t: all three roast beef sandwiches in the September 2026 guide list wheat, because of the bun. So the meat is on the list but a roast beef sandwich isn’t. Ask whether your restaurant can serve the meat without the bun.

Are Arby’s shakes gluten free?

The Jamocha, chocolate and vanilla shakes are all on Arby’s list, and none lists wheat in the September 2026 guide. They do list milk, and the guide marks the Jamocha and chocolate shakes as made in a facility that processes peanuts or tree nuts. That note isn’t about gluten, but it matters if you avoid nuts too.

Is the Arby’s steak and potato bowl gluten free?

We can’t say. The Steak ’n Potato Bowl lists milk and soy but no wheat in the September 2026 guide, yet it isn’t on Arby’s list, which leaves out limited-time items. The Steak ’n Mac Bowl does list wheat. Ask your restaurant about the potato bowl, since the guide alone doesn’t settle it.

Is Arby’s safe if you have celiac disease?

Arby’s doesn’t promise it is. Its list is based on ingredients, not on how food is cooked or handled, and Arby’s own footnote says the crinkle fries and potato cakes may share oil with wheat items. If you have celiac disease, ask your restaurant how it prepares your order, and check with your doctor about what’s right for you.

Which Arby’s sauces are gluten free?

Plenty are on Arby’s list. It names 19 sauces and spreads, including Arby’s Sauce, Horsey Sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, marinara and the ranch, buffalo and honey mustard dipping sauces. A sauce is only one part of an order, so a gluten free sauce on a bun is still on a bun. Limited-time sauces aren’t on the list.
