Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit arbysmenuspecials.com. It describes what the site does, not what it might do.
The short version
This is a static information website. There is no account to create, no newsletter and no comment section. The only thing that asks you for anything is the contact form, and it asks only for what is needed to reply to you. We count visits with Google Analytics so we can see which pages are useful. Nothing on this site shows you ads or follows you around other websites, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
What you choose to send us. The contact form asks for an email address so we can answer you, and for your message. Your name and the item or page you are writing about are optional, and there is a menu for what the message is about. That is the whole list. We use it to reply and for nothing else: no mailing list, no marketing, no passing it to anyone. Messages are delivered by our hosting provider's form service, which stores the submission so we can read it and checks it for spam. If you would rather not use the form, email hello@arbysmenuspecials.com instead. Mail to that address is forwarded by Cloudflare's email routing to our inbox.
How the site is used (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city), what device and browser they use, how they arrived (for example from a Google search), and how far down a page they scroll. Google says Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; it uses them briefly to work out a rough location and then discards them. We use this to decide what to improve. We cannot see who you are from it.
Nothing else that identifies you. We do not collect phone numbers, postal addresses or payment details, because nothing on this site asks for them.
Standard server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information about requests: the page requested, the time, the browser and operating system, and an IP address. This happens automatically, keeps the site running and secure, and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Preferences stored in your own browser. If the site remembers a choice you made, that is stored locally in your browser. It never reaches us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. They hold a random identifier so a return visit can be told apart from a new one, and they last up to two years. They do not contain your name, your email address or anything you type. There are no advertising cookies.
If you would rather not be counted, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works exactly the same without them.
If we ever add advertising or another analytics tool, we will update this policy before anything is set.
Third parties
Fonts. Typefaces are served from this site itself, not from Google Fonts or any other font service, so loading a page here makes no request to a third-party font server.
Links out. We link to Arby's website and occasionally to other sites. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy policy, not ours.
Hosting, forms and email. The site and its contact form are served by a hosting provider, and the domain and email forwarding run through Cloudflare. They process requests on our behalf and keep the server logs described above.
Google. Google provides Analytics and processes the data it collects for us. That data may be processed in the United States. Google explains what it does in how Google uses information from sites that use its services and its privacy policy.
Children
This site is a restaurant menu guide. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information about them.
Your choices and rights
We hold almost nothing about you. If you wrote to us, you can ask what we have, ask us to correct or delete it, and we will. If you live in California or another state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to have it deleted and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
To ask about any of this, email us at the address below.
How long data is kept
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, then deleted. Google Analytics data tied to a cookie identifier is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically; totals that no longer relate to any one visitor, such as visits per page per month, are kept. Messages and emails are kept while we deal with what you raised and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted; if you want yours removed sooner, ask and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this policy changes with it and the date at the top is updated. A change that affects what we collect will be made before it goes live, not after.
